What Worked
Eddy Guerrerro vs Chris Benoit obviously worked in the ring. HELL! These two are the best workers in the US and they worked about as stiff as wrestlers work without actually committing homocide- thus showing what a bunch of pansies everybody but DDP, BUFF, Regal and Hennig are in the actual heavyweight division. It was neat seeing Benoit wrestling another none stiff to follow up the neato Hennig matches. I got no beef really, except- why is Benoit being used to put Eddy over for a Cruiserweight Title match when it looks like they could use Benoit as a heavyweight? WCW is chockfull of shitheads when it comes to booking. They have no idea what to do with Benoit and it's becoming more obvious every week. He's losing heat and WCW is too stupid to push him like they should. Great match though. BUFF and Benoit die on the vine, WCW pushes Disco Inferno, Mongo, and Ray Traylor. There you have it. I'm sure they have SOME plan for these two. I'm guessing they are going to be the new Dos Hombres or something. Maybe they are gonna get one of them to be the new Shockmaster.

Malenko vs Hennig was pretty good- the Hennig hot streak continues! Kinda sloppy in parts, but Hennig did his share of actual wrestling and Malenko on autopilot is still entertaining enough. They gave this enough time which is good. They gotta activate Malenko already and get Hennig in a feud with Malenko or Benoit, as opposed to this Flair crap which is gonna HURT A WHOLE BUNCH.

Rey vs Disco Inferno was not a wrestling match, but there were some neat moves between the angles. DI does well with luchadores for some reason. This Jacquelyn crap sucks it really really hard. Rey vs Eddy should be good; somebody send me the tape- it ain't worth thirty dollars plus the added horrendous spectre of Hogan and Piper in a cage.

Heck. I guess Nagata vs Juventud worked considering the preposterous amount of time it was given. Yuji isn't quite as good with the Luchadores. Swank suplex by Nagata before the standing figure four, but Juventud should have been able to do more. UD shows up and chases Ono around. This should be good. Stick that on the tape too.

Goldberg vs Wrath worked because it was too short for Goldberg to not sell anything. YEEEEEE-HAAAAA! We don't QUITE have a new MENG yet! Maybe Bill can turn that trick next week!

Luger vs Booker T worked because- HEY!- I got to see what else was on TV. I love Booker T! Just not enough to watch a Luger Match! Luger ain't good, but he sells too much to despise. He just ain't good.

What Didn't Work
HEY! HEY! Jarrett's gone to infect the WWF with his bad wrestling so I'm turning my attention to the Giant. Wotta Shithead. Three Luchadores get in the ring, possibly to have a decent match with other guys who can wrestle; instead Sid Eudy of the late nineties demonstrates how shitty his chokeslam is. Wrestle a match, fatboy, before you make three good wrestlers put you over. You suck. As for the luchadores being reamed by Konan and Bischoff, I guess its too late to jump to the WWF Light Heavyweight Division (but luckily Black Warrior escaped the shitheads in charge of WCW, so maybe HE can wrestle TAKA at Madison Square Garden. And he gets to wrestle in the real world of EMLL again. Thank GOD!)

Mongo vs Mortis showed that Mortis is a great young wrestler and that Mongo should darken my screen no more. HEY! Goldman vs Mongo! I'm getting sick! Push Mortis already, he can wrestle.

Scott Steiner vs Scott Hall wasn't good. No. Not at all. Scott Steiner should try wrestling without that big, bulky suit on. What the fudge was Cornette saying about Hall being a good wrestler? When was this? And that Shawn Michaels match was against SHAWN MICHAELS. Welcome to Big Bowl Of Dirt PART I.

Ray Traylor vs Scott Norton. Well, it sucked last week and Traylor has sucked for about eight years now, and Norton ain't doing nothin unless there is a BVD insignia in the middle of the ring, so welcome to the Big Cinch-Sak Of Nothing PART II. WHOMP ASS!

Hogan, Bischoff, Piper, Zbysko, Sting, nWo- boy. Who gives a shit? As the youth would say, "More wrestling please."

THERE YOU HAVE IT.

DEAN!
