The Raw is War Workrate Report

A weekly look at what worked and didn't work on Raw is War by Oliver Postlethwaite

Hey! This week's report is a lot on the thin side. I know!

What Worked
The Mr. Ass/Chyna/Rock interview worked because, hey!, big fat ass!

D-Lo Brown winning the intercontinental title worked. And the match was OK.

Steve Austin getting beat up worked because it was something we don't get to see much. I love when Calloway gets all southern ON THE STICK.

Test vs. Rodney was cool because Test worked over a body part and exploited it for the victory. That's psychology 101 and it passes with a D-.

What Didn't Work
Edge vs. Gangrel kind of worked because it was fairly lengthy and they did a bunch of stuff. But when a lot of that stuff consists of running the ropes and not selling anything it shouldn't really count. Throw in a lame as fuck finish and you've lost me.

Having just seen the McMahon kids sell the corporate line on OTR, my opinion of the family is at an all time low so Shane's interview really pissed me off more than it should have. Fuck you Shane, you bland piece of shit.

The Big Show and the Undertaker vs. Road Dog and Kane probably wasn't a very good match. I swear I watched it but damn me if I can remember a thing about it besides Armstrong's lame poem.

Wow! Big Boss Man vs. Viscera! Wow!

Steve Blackman got all up ON THE STICK and everything but he and Venis didn't do much before the mandatory Ken Shamrock run-in.

Ya know, I was glad that they turned Austin vs. Undertaker into a clusterfuck because then I didn't have to say the same things about the same match that I do on a seemingly weekly basis.
