Considering I haven't really watched the last few seasons in obsessive detail, or much at all, I *was* only mildly curious who was coming up... but then I noticed this participant:

Chris Jericho

AND, that article says he gets Cheryl Burke as a partner. Which makes him automatically a contender from the start.

Ok, I guess I have to watch at least while he's there. :)

Unfortunately, Cheryl hasn't won since season 3, and male pros have won 5 of the past 6 (US version). Though, there is no female athlete this season (Sorry Mark Ballas, the Disney actress never wins), so I'd peg Hines Ward as the early favorite.

of in week one.

Why? Because it's a CONSPIRACY!

But can anyone doubt our little lionheart has 1,004 dance moves?

Anyway, I do hope he at least makes it to the Paso Doble week.

I haven't watched it since the first season, though I quite liked it then. I didn't know Jericho was on it, as well as Daniel LaRusso.

I see it's on Hulu. I should put down the rasslin and watch it for a bit this weekend.

I spent last Monday (as I've spent much of my past two weeks) playing
the solitaire wargame D-Day at Omaha Beach. (I've discovered that
playing non-computer games and getting off the PC has helped my
fatigue and eyestrain levels. Go figure.) I listened to RAW and stuck my
head in for the one or two decent matches, and didn't try to follow DWTS.
I did watch Chris' routine online later.

The cast is a lot more balanced than usual, with no ringers and the
two really bad dancers out already. I don't think Jericho can win
unless he backs into it, but he could make the finals or get voted out
tomorrow.
