THE GOOD SHEPHERD is one of the best movies of 2006. I think it will be at the top of the Oscar list. Reminds you of GODFATHER II. ****--Yohe

Good movie, less than stellar acting, too long for what it delivered. Not a top 5 movie this year and barely top 10. It was worth the $5 I plunked down for it, but a full price buy may have left me slightly dissapointed.

$5....what's your secret. Why don't you just walk in the exist.

I'm now paying $7 or $7.50 because I'm a old man. They just started giving it to me...without me asking. I was really pissed the first time it happen. How I just take the money.--Yohe

Florida and some other states has $5 matinees on weekends (I went to one in Aventura a few weeks ago).

The local AMC has $5 before noon on all Fri-Sun and holidays. I take advantage of that as often as possible. It's 7.50 for daily matinees and 9.50 for night shows and that's with a discount card for online orders.

Crap it's still $4.25 for matinees and $5.75 for regular shows here. Of course, we only have two out of the six theaters set up with a decent screen and sound system, the other four "cinemas" are worse than some of my friends' living rooms. If I go to Louisville, then it's $6 for matinees and $8.50 for regular shows.

At least I'm getting some sort of an advantage (other than embarassingly cheap cigarettes) living in Kentucky.
