Kyrie was -15 in 28 minutes. Smart of Lue to keep him on the bench.

So the Spurs/Memphis series is all tied up at 4.

I didnt expect to see that be a tight series. Without Tony Allen, and to a lesser extent, Chandler Parsons. Memphis definately holding its own.

So the MVP of the league has been eliminated from the playoffs. Not a surprise actually though. Not much you can do when most of the team didn't perform well this series, compared to the group effort of the Rockets.

Beverley is one of my favorite players to watch now. He really gave Westbrook fits again this series. Can't wait to see what he does next.

2nd Round Predictions:

East:

(1) Celtics vs (4) Wizards: When Rondo got hurt, the Celts' struggles seemed to have ended. So they're going to have a tough time dealing with Wall and Beal. Despite that, they'll win in 6.

(2) Cavs vs (3) Raptors: Cavs are still trying to click on all cylinders. But they shouldnt have that much difficulty with Toronto. Cavs in 5.

West:

(1) Warriors vs Clippers/Jazz: Regardless of who wins today, Warriors should get the sweep.

(2) Spurs vs (3) Rockets: after a more than competitive 1st round series against Memphis, its not going to get easier with the Rockets. Kawii wont be enough here, as Beverley will continue to show he's the breakout star of the postseason. And that the Rockets will show that they'll continue to defeat one of the best players in the league. Rockets in 7.

Perhaps another soon to be moved player in the increasingly interesting offseason:

Not really a surprise that hes unhappy.

Matt Moore of CBS Sports asked his Twitter followers to provide GIFs to show what the Rockets did to the Spurs in the first half.

The results were pretty entertaining.

The sideline reporters this series are going to be chewing their nails alot at the thought of interviewing Pops.

Rockets dont appear to be cooling down just yet.

What a performance by Isaiah Thomas. 53 points. Clearly the most "rootable" player in the NBA today.

a good/bad news night for the Spurs. They beat Houston, but lost Tony Parker for the rest of the postseason. A big blow for sure.

I love watching Green play defense. He was terrific in the 1st quarter, and when Iggy came in the two of them were like poetry in switching and talking and pointing.

Of course the Jazz aren't the same team without Hill in there. But that's also a time when opponents let down, take it easy on defense and know that they can outscore the short handed team. Wasn't the case in the first quarter at all.

Yeah, their switching is so seamless.

The Dubs were incredible in the 1st and 4th quarters of this series. Here are the offensive and defensive ratings for those quarters:

1st quarter:
Off: 127.4
Def: 70.1
Net: 57.4

4th quarter:
Off: 109.3
Def: 81.7
Net: 27.6

Those numbers are nuts.

Courtesy of CBS Sports' Matt Moore, here are some interesting Spurs stats through the first 4 games of the series with the Rockets.

- The Spurs are -12.4 with LaMarcus Aldridge on the court, +12.6 with him off
- Kawhi is -9.1 with LMA on the court, +30.1 with him off
- The combination of Mills/Green/Kawhi/Gasol/LMA has a -58.1 net rating

All figures are per 100 possessions. Ouch.
