Lebron is really treating this win like a playoff/finals win:

Goodness.

So tonight Michael Beasley had 32 points to beat the Celtics. And the MSG fans seranaded him with MVP chants. That hilarious occurance is something I didnt see coming:

With Porzingis not 100%,and Hardaway JR still out, and with the East being more competitive than it usually is, they need Beasley to help them secure their 1st playoff spot since 2013.

Okay, so apparently Kristaps Porzingis has a positive effect on his team.

Even though they lost today to Philly, Kanter had 31 points and 22 rebounds. He's putting up a lot of monster numbers as of late.

I think he's actually more deserving of being a part of the allstar roster than Porzingis. Him interacting with Lebron during All-star weekend would be wild. Plus Porzingis could use the rest, as he needs to be 100%.

Compared to a lot of organizations in the league, the Knicks have been very quiet in terms of in-house drama. With the exception of:

Good luck to whatever team wants to explore him.

Some very bad news for the Knicks. As Porzingis tore his ACL tonight. He's not only out for the rest of the season. But could be out the early part of next season too.

I think this pretty much puts an end to any hopes for making the playoffs this season. But also some concern for next year as well. Brutal.

Terrible news.

Also, the curse of LeBron's All Star team continues. Since they were picked by LeBron, Cousins, Wall, Love, and now Porzingis have all gotten hurt.

And it begins. Willy Hernangomez to Charlotte, with the return including 2 future 2nd rounders.

Perhaps not the last move before the end of Thursday.

They acquired Emmanuel Mudiay from Denver in a three-way trade and moved Doug McDermott to Dallas. Well, Frank has a new mentor.

What a game this was. a 27 point lead, and Tim Hardaway had 32 1st half points. They then blow that big lead and the game.

They're rapidly becoming players for the 2018 NBA Draft.

The 10 teams with the worst record in the NBA all lost today. The Knicks have lost 8 in a row, but they may have already won too many games to be in contention for one of the top picks. The race to the bottom will be intense.

they're 1-9 since your last post. Obviously no porzingis hurts a lot.

And yet probably won't get a top 5 pick, with how other teams are tanking.

So Allen Iverson's doppelgänger, Trey Burke had a 42 point/10 assist game tonight. He's been piling up the numbers since his G-League callup. He could be the answer (heh) to their point guard problem. Which would mean Frank would be a reserve,

And thus endeth the Jeff Hornacek era. Someone on Twitter mentioned that the last man standing from Phil's regime is Kurt Rambis. Yikes.

Well Rambis was canned this morning too, so that's that.

The best coach for the Knicks would have to be David Fizdale. or a Brad Stevens type, since Ewing needs more years. A coach that fits in with the youth rather than the opposite, which is what Hornacek was guilty of. I don't think I want to see Mark Jackson, the fans' favorite to be the next coach. There would be a bit more dysfunction, if his Warriors tenure was any indication.

They have the young talent to make a Lakers type splash in 2019. They just need accountability upstairs to get things done. And they need Porzingis at 100% too which most likely means the season after next is where the push begins. So perhaps, another lost year incoming, if they're focused on 2019-2020.
