Im still a little irked by the Bron cam after the Warriors won. With the screen focused a little at Bron comforted by his family, instead of letting the Warriors have their deserved moment. it diminished from that grand feat, IMO.
Lebron to Philly is still the favorite, but there's the thought of him inevitably clashing with Embiid. And we've embiid's obvious to subliminal reactions when he's upset. He would ride more with Simmons, who's part of the same Klutch group, and someone who Bron can groom into his successor. Because if he goes to Philly, he's never had a much younger all-star on his team with the exception of Kyrie. That would be a sort of new experience for Bron. Mentor to the young. |

The first big trade of the offseason has Dwight Howard going to yet another new team. This time to Brooklyn for Mozgov and draft picks.
Its the circle of life. |

well he's going to be bought out once the trade is finalized so he's going to be on the market once free agency starts.
Its going to be a very short list of suitors for him. |

So the big draft day story was Luka being drafted by the Hawks only to be traded to Dallas for their draft pic, Trae Young. I think that's one of the best possible landing spots for him. Since he's going to be groomed and tutored by Dirk. |

Melo is staying with OKC for at least one more year. Obviously with a 27.9 million option, that would require staying.
So 2/3 of the big 3 in OKC will return with Paul George most likely going somewhere else. |

James Harden won the MVP tonight. So at one point, OKC had 3 players who would win the MVP on the same team at the same time. That's an impressive feat.
I still think Bron should've won after everything that happened this year, but thats just me. |

Always was going to happen, even if he chose to stay in CLE. |

Someone who has chosen to stay where he was is Paul George. The Big 3 will ride again in OKC. |

Chris Paul staying put as well. For 4 more years.
But with that, that means the Rockets may lose a few of their other key parts. And they did with Trevor Ariza signing with phoenix, and there may not be enough room for Capela. Which would be a huge blow to them, as he's one of their most important players.
And of course Durant stays too, but with a player option for next year. So deja vu for next offseason as well. |

The big negative is that there is nothing that standard between the Celtics and repeated trips to the NBA Finals. And we all know that Shit Happens in the playoffs: see Dray getting suspended (-1 Title for the the Dubs) and CP3 getting injured (possibly +1 Title for the Dubs). I don't really want the Celts playing for the NBA Title left and right, a fluke away from winning the title from a stronger buy injured Western Champion. |
