Houston seems to be screwing up the 2nd best team in the NBA. Hope Paul gets injured earlier this year.--Yohe

The King was at the Summer League game yesterday. That's a good sign for the younger members of the team, as they get assessed.

They just signed Michael Beasley. So another interesting project for next year.

Can't play defense, and doesn't really shoot the three despite the decent %. But he can score, and is willing to play off the bench. "Fun" offensively, so he'll be watchable.

This is more of the fill in signing that I prefer compared to Rondo.

Beasley is empty calories unless LeBron can get something more from him, but thereís a track record there as well.

I like Rondo, because the Lakers went to shit last year when Lonzo was out, which was a lot, and having an above-average backup PG on a 1-year. Iíve talked myself into it.

Here are the initial Western Conference win totals from LVSuperBook.

Warriors 62.5
Rockets 54.5
Thunder 50.5
Lakers 48.5
Jazz 48.5
Nuggets 47.5
Pelicans 45.5
Timberwolves 44.5
Spurs 43.5
Trail Blazers 41.5
Clippers 35.5
Grizzlies 34.5
Mavericks 34.5
Suns 28.5
Kings 25.5

Do you have the Lakers over or under 48.5?

Also, it is interesting that Vegas does not have the Spurs as a playoff team. Their win total seems low to me.

So Bron, besides the countless TV shows he's going to produce, found time today to do some sort of promotion in his new Lakers Uni:

I think this has something to do with the NBA2K franchise.

Steve might be talking about some other gambling thing for odds rather than the Predicted Wins above.

Yeah I thought it was a gambling number use in odds. So they are saying Lakers win 48 1/2 games. I think they can get 48 wins but the 1/2 will be tough.

I see odds quoted in the WON & it's different than it used to be. I don't get it so I can't explain it. Not only am I 70, but I don't talk to anyone either. I'm all alone.---Yohe

The .5 is there to avoid pushes, which could happen at 48 or 49.

You got us and LeBron now.
