The get is Beal.

Wish the Lakers weren’t so committed to the cap space.

I’d trade Ingram for him in a minute.

On today's Lowe Post podcast with Tom Haberstroh, one of the two, I think Zach, suggested the following trade: Bradley Beal for Ingram, KCP, and a future 1st round pick.

So the Warriors have lost 4 in a row. Granted Steph Curry has been out (and to a lesser extent Draymond), and this is just going to be a minor blip for them, but this could be bad news for teams that are going to vie for Kevin Durant's services, should he leave the Warriors. They've been getting shelled quite a bit these last few games. Not the Warriors we've seen for the past several years. And of course the tiff with Draymond that is probably not going to be fully resolved, even if they win the Finals.

Curry returned tonight, but their woes continue as they lose to Detroit. They've lost now 6 straight road games.

THat's something they haven't done in a while. Since the dynasty began.

Bulls fired Hoiberg today. Bit of a surprise given they're starting to develop a young core. But given how the front office is, maybe it isn't much of a surprise.

John has always been a defense guy. He watches everything....and Ok, I used to believe in it too.

But watching this year....with no hand checking...no touching...no bodying up...can't use two hands---no hooking or holding...and they call everything. No harm...no foul, no longer exists. Rebs? No one cares. I can't see anyone being able to play defense under these rules. Cross overs for lay ups & 3 pointers rule. They can't be stopped.

Coach are telling them not to foul. Good D is reaching in, and blocking shots.

Now it's just a race up and down...to see who scores the most points. Defense doesn't matter & the defensive teams are getting beaten. Maybe that's why the teams who used to dominate...aren't any more. Maybe that's the reason for all the comebacks. It's a race to score.

I was thinking this & then I read a artical in the LA Times saying the same thing. I'm not doing a old man rant, It's what I see on TV. Defense is dead in the NBA.

Is this better that guys pushing and fighting for position? Guys just running & shooting for 48 minutes?---Yohe

Denver signed swaggy p today. Should be fun with him and Isaiah Thomas on the same team.

Here's a report on the strange saga of Fultz:

and the trade is revised and official:

ariza to Washington for Oubre and Austin Rivers. So Oubre goes from a possible playoff team in Memphis to lowly Phoenix.

In 2014-15, the Dubs' home record was 39-2.
In 2015-16, the Dubs' home record was 39-2.
In 2018-19, the Dubs' home record is 15-4 and all 4 losses have been by 20 or more points. Weird.

They lose another home game to Portland in OT.

The West is wide open this year.

Harden's on an insane pace these past several games. The Rockets have been on a roll. Incidentally without CP3. And after the short-lived Melo experiment, they're back to being a key player in the West.

Harden's got my MVP vote. Close behind would be Giannis and Lebron.

So the Wolves fired Thibs today. Despite a blowout win against the Lakers, and them not doing that bad after the Butler trade:

http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/25700462/minnesota-timberwolves-fire-coach-team-president-tom-thibodeau

Still some odd timing.

Lowe was pointing out that Klay is starting to get it together after the slow start. January:

27 PPG
.529 FG%
.442 3P%

Pretty fab... er... um...

Steph in Jan:

33-5-7
.500/.442/.929
7 3PM/Game

KD in Jan:

26-6-6
.506/.385/.906

KD's "numbers" might be better in earlier months, but he might be playing his best right now since it's in the flow of the game while Klay gets it going and Steph is playing batshit crazy.

The team is still a bit messy trying to figure things out. They shouldn't have to work as hard as they did yesterday against the Mavs, who really aren't that good though they are improved.

Denver game on Tuesday will be interesting. It's in Denver.

Oh it's interesting alright.

A 51-point 1st quarter by the Warriors.

And Cousins debuts this Friday.

Just a matter of time before the Warriors start rolling all the way to April.
