Why didn't we read about this for two weeks before it happen? It would have been hard to make this deal, if the fans were bitching about it before it happened. This was a gutsy move.

The same can be said of the Blake Griffin trade last year. The Clippers run a tight ship (are a tight ship?).

Well they were able to acquire Zubac and Michael Beasley from their cross-town rivals.

I can see Zubac starting, now they got rid of Gortat.

Another night where the Clippers come back from an massive deficit only to win. This time it was the Celtics.

They were down 28 points at haft time, and came back to win at Boston. Zubac looked good. All the new guys did.--Yohe

So Boban is off to a nice start with the 76ers. He's the 1st big man off the bench, a crowd favorite, and is basically Embiid's backup. Good role for him. Im sure he'll start some games for the next couple of months since you know they want to protect Embiid for the postseason, and rightfully so.

Compared to his role on the Clippers where he occasionally started, but mostly had DNP-CD. Strange considering he was the backup to Gortat, who didnt play much aside from the first few minutes of the 1st and 3rd quarters.

With Embid out, Boban is now the starting center and had 19 points and 12 boards.

Doc Rivers takes the PA mic with 9.4 seconds left to urge the LA crowd to cheer on Dirk Nowitzki

Really nice gesture by Doc Rivers.

They wanted it more last night. Beverley etc.

3 1/2 games separating 7th where they are at the moment, and 9th. Getting more and more room towards a playoff spot.

For Steve - former Clippers announcer Mike Smith has worked as a fill-in for Matt Harpring on Jazz TV broadcasts this year. He worked the game last night against the Pelicans. I caught the end of that game and it was nice to hear his voice again. I still don't know why the Clippers thought it would be a good move to replace Smith with Bruce Bowen.

Kind of interesting that both the Clippers amd the Pistons are headed to the playoffs.

Blake has pretty much had a really nice comeback year: 25-8-5 on .474/.364/.748 shooting, tossing up 7 3P a game. Played in 63 of 65 games, which probably is going to jinx him. He'll have three years left on his contract, the last a player option. This isn't quite the disaster yet that it looked like at the time of the trade.

Seem like a legit playoff team after last night's win over the Celts.

They were wise to extend Lou Williams last year.

Very interesting game tonight. They overcome a massive deficit in the 2nd half, only for the Nets to have a comeback of their own. And Lou Williams ends the game with a buzzer-beater.

There's been a few minor rumors about Doc maybe coaching the other team in Staples Center. But he's staying with the Clippers:
