Porzingis is unhappy again:

http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/25893669/kristaps-porzingis-concerned-losing-direction-new-york-knicks

I wouldn't be that surprised if he is in the Nets' future. They seem more and more destined to be maybe a bigger player than the Knicks in the next couple of years at least. Plus they have a stronger and more cohesive environment there.

And apparently he's on the trading block. So he might be moved before next week's trade deadline, despite perhaps not playing a game this year.

That was quick. He goes to the Mavs with Tim Hardaway JR and Courtney lee for Dennis Smith JR, Deandre Jordan, Wesley Matthews and draft picks.

The belief with the Knicks is that they're hoping to get two max players next year. Good luck with that.

The thought of Porzingis and Luka as a duo is going to be something to behold.

17 losses in a row. Including two losses to their competition this year in the Cavs.

At least the tanking fans are pleased.

Well their offseason hasn't gone as planned, to put it mildly. And they may have ruined a chance to get someone that could've helped them:

Well another down start to the year and David Fizdale is gone:

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/28238796/sources-knicks-fire-david-fizdale-eastern-conference-worst-4-18-mark

They've actually held their own against some of the top teams in the league. They actually beat the Dallas Mavericks twice, and have had double digit leads against some of the top teams in the East. However they've blown most of those leads because the personnel they have can't compete with the stars of those teams come crunch time.

I think one of the more confusing things this year has been Fizdale not playing some of their top rising stars from time to time, and they have been coach's decisions. Just baffling.

So the Knicks under coach Thibs and former Laker now all-star Julius Randle are the 4th seed in the east with a record of 17-17. They actually seem to be in a better long-term place than their crosstown rivals. Granted this could all change in a drop of the hat, but still one of the more pleasant surprises in the league right now.

Randle seems to have matured a lot from his Lakers days and is right now the “man” of the Knicks. The new Ewing, if you will.

Randle fully realized is quite something.

Maxing out late like this is so rare. Very happy for him.

I've been paying attention. I'm hoping that his play in NY will make you or Jag draft him in our re-draft so that someone falls to me. ;)

Knicks are still riding high, en route to perhaps the 4th seed. And Randle continues to get some acclaims for his work this season. Including getting the Eastern Conference Player of the month, this past April:

Averaging 27 Points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists last month.

A lock for Most Improved Player. And maybe top 5 for MVP.

well despite last night’s very disheartening loss, they did clinch a playoff spot tonight, due to the Celtics losing.

They’re actually the 4th seed this year. They will host the Hawks 1st round.

Well after winning Most Improved Player for his terrific regular season, the postseason was a different story for Randle. Not good at all. And the Knicks lose their return to the postseason, in 5 to the Atlanta Hawks. Trae Young was too much for them as well.

Its going to be a very interesting offseason for the Knicks. Do they continue with the team that got them to the postseason. A rising young core. Or do they try to get a star or 2, perhaps someone like Kyle Lowry, or Lonzo Ball.
