Think Vince being ticked with Macho had something to do with Macho was one of the very few that wouldn't crawl back to Vince hat in hand. Vince isn't used to being told no by anyone especially retired wrestlers in need of a desperately seeking fan approval fix. Macho seemed to be able to stay clear of that need unlike guys like Bret, etc. |

So it doesnt look like Macho man will be in the HOF this year. It appears as if they're banking on Edge (!?) and the Four Horsemen (Flair/Arn/Tully/Windham/JJ Dillon era) as the big HOF draws.
Guess the rumors about Macho wanting his father to get in the WWE HOF were true. |

They almost had no choice but to put Edge in this year, and now that they
are they pretty much have to put in any "name" the year after they retire.
It's a line that's going to creep down. That said, I do think Edge was
above it. |
