Bruce Springsteen & Bono & The E Street Band: Because The Night

Who is the extra guitarist? Clapton?

Mix is a bit rough since it's a boot-cam. But if you're a Bruce and U2 Mark (*cough*jdw*cough*), this is pretty amazing. Bruce tapes and records everything now... I'd love to see an boot from the official tape of this.

Guren... where in the heck is the from? :)

U2 & Bruce Springsteen: People Get Ready

U2 & Bruce Springsteen: Stand By Me

Edge's playing is rough on the first, but sharper on the second.

U2 with Bruce Springsteen: I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For

From the R'nR HOF.

Poking around a bit, a bit of my favorite Queen:

the music video for "Somebody To Love"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxbFLYa0_bw

the Live Aid performance of "Crazy Little Thing Called Love"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFWbF0Kp-_4

and two versions of "Who Wants To Live Forever" --

music video from 1985/6 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zH6FjL4rClQ

live in Budapest 1986 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pC4ZOxpu2rs

Lee (also loves "Prophet's Song". but the only one on YouTube is terrible video quality + off-key live)

"I will sing it, and I will give it my all."--Freddie Mercury

A pair of my favorite Springsteen songs:

Red Headed Woman

:>

Thunder Road

Jungleland

A fun loving version:

Thundercrack

And an absolutely mindfucking version of it from his last tour:

Thundercrack

I wish I could find the version that came out with the Born to Run reissue last because it was vintage greatness.

Here's the whole Live Aid performance in order:

Bohemian Rhapsody & Radio Ga Ga

Hammer To Fall

Crazy Little Thing Called Love

We Will Rock You

We Are the Champions

And their forgotten part of the Finale from Wembley later on in the show:

Is This The World We Created?

A minor technical glitch in the middle which isn't them.

And a UK poll that voted it best gig ever:

Queen Voted Best Gig-Live Aid

And because it's exactly the kind of goofy thing ol' John would like, here's one of those so-bad-it's-hysterically-funny early '70s variety show skits, involving John, Flip Wilson, and Glen Campbell singing "Rocky Raccoon": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6g_GoGNkxE9

I don't know why you would think I would like that one. Crows aren't mushy and romantic.

*tapping a foot nervously*

*looking around to see if anyone is buying that one*

:)

Three versions of another fave... have no idea what the backstory of the second one is, but it's a wonderful version. The first is their standard concert performance of it, which I'm fond of.

The last was a special UK tv appearance in the aftermath Omagh Bombing.

All I Want Is You (live from Slane Castle)

All I Want Is You (San Remo version)

All I Want Is You (Late Show)
