This is an excerpt of a film starring Josephine Baker (the famed black singer-dancer-actress) from 1935 and Maurice Tillet is briefly seen as an unbilled bar-patron in two separate moments in the film, titled "Princess Tam-Tam."

While it was released in France in 1935, it took two years for it to play in some American movie-theaters.

Does this mean the French Angel was discovered when he was an actor?
