Got enough back from Deng to offer Durant offer the full 10-year max.
Hmmm.

Preseason tips Sunday. :)
We haven’t had a good Laker team since 2012. Really 2011.
Luke has a lot to figure out.

Everyone here should watch Basketball A Love Story on ESPN.
It’s an Oscar-level 20+ hour Doc by Dan Klores and Jackie Mac book.
It’s amazing. Lots of Lakers chapters out of the 64 And everything else throughout the history of basketball. You can pick and choose on the app. Really incredible.

Thanks for the heads-up.
I listened to The Lowe Post podcast the other day, and the guests were Jackie Mac and Rafe Bartholomew, the book's co-author. It was a lot of fun to listen to their stories, and I can imagine how great the book and doc must be. |

That’s Tanter’s legendary introduction.
He’ll save the good ones for May and June.

Wait... people were complaining about the saintly Lawrence Tanter? That's just wrong. |

A win and Ingram played very well. Of course it was the Kings, who are awful.
A lot of minutes for a preseason game out of Kuz, Hart, Ingram and KCP.
Hilarious how much Bron can fill it up even when on cruise control in a preseason game. :) |

Lawrence Tanter is part of the Laker family, and isn't going anywhere. So you guys would rather have rap announcers like the Clips. Disk jockey types? Tanter also used to do Dodger games. Haven't gone to a baseball game in three years, so I don't know if he still is there.---Yohe |

LeBron. Lakers. It’s time.
Might as well start in Portland instead of it being a back-to-back.
Very interested in how Luke handles the rotations.

That was a fun first quarter. The Lakers (including LeBron) seem committed to playing fast, which should make for an entertaining year. Will they be able to make 3s? They were 0-7 from distance in the first quarter. |
