Quite the reopening.

AD carried them through LeBron’s bad night. LeBron got the winner and captained the big run in the 4th.

Kawhi being +16 is no bueno and they’ll have Lou Will and Harrell for those 15 mins. Luckily, LeBron will hunt Lou Will on picks that he’ll be useless in the 4th.

Caruso looked exposed for a good chunk of the game, but showed what makes him good late.

Bad matchup for Dwight even without Harrell.

Waiters! Love the courage he brings.

Watched it on the phone with Steve. Boy does he hate Waiters Island. :)

Strange, messy game. Looked like we were about to blow them off the court in the 2nd quarter, then they close. Looked like they were on the brink of crushing us in the 3rd, then things balanced out. That makes it sound like a "good" game, but it was really quite sloppy.

We miss Bradley. Could care less about Rondo. Our offense looked stagnant without Bron in there, and we were kind of lucky that AD was having a big game to cover for it. The overall chemistry of the team we saw in the last couple of weeks of the pre-shutdown season wasn't quite here. It's early, they was always the toughest game of the remaining season, so not to get to worked up. They have time to smooth things out.

Clippers defense was often quite good. Lack of Lou played a role in that.

Don't want to see the Clippers drop to the 4th spot and having to face them in the 2nd round.

Waiters can finish in traffic, which is a rare skill.

We’re gonna have to sit thru some rough nights, but Vogel can keep a short leash.

Impressed by Kuzma’s defense. If he’s near this good, they roll.

We won. You can't get away from the fact that the Clipper are under achievers. They are loaded but don't play like it.

Walters needs the ball. He'd dribble around until there is a hole & then shot. Doesn't make for a good team player. Doesn't matter if he makes them or not.....the style is wrong for this team. Davis or James should touch the ball 85% of the time. Walters will take shots from them. We lost a great defender & got two shooters .... not good. Outside of Davis, we need offensive guys who catch & shoot. Walters had been dumped by teams .... there has to be a reason. I don't trust him on a team that is locked in on a championship. I don't know about his D. I say this based on looking at him twice. So...that's what John is talking about. ---Yohe

Waiters has been a 40% catch and shoot player his entire career. High release.

They need a creator in the non-LeBron minutes who’s a scoring threat, opens things up, unlike Rondo.

Waiters is a little nuts. That’s OK, always been room for a little of that.

Pat Riley liked him enough to give him $50M for 4 years. But then had to cut him because he signed Jimmy Butler and you can’t have too many guys like that.

Toronto at 5:30p. Magic number is 1.

so whenever tj warren's contract ends, would there be room for him with the Lakers? He might be the breakout star of the bubble.

Waren has two more seasons under his current contract at a relatively cheap $12M a year. The Pacers aren't going to want to trade him. More likely they unload Myles Turner because Sabonis' contract extension kicks in next year.

The Lakers have lost that championship feel. I'm not going to watch any more until the playoffs kick in. The opening round really scares me.

The Dodgers have done Ok, but the starters are weak. Can't see tricking people into a world title. Three major stars not hitting. --- Yohe

3rd Quarter:
3:57 PJ Dozier enters the game for Michael Porter Jr.
3:38 Bol Bol enters the game for Paul Millsap
3:06 Mason Plumlee enters the game for Nikola Jokic
3:06 Monte Morris enters the game for Jamal Murray

It was 81-79 Lakers when they started pulling their starters, and 81-80 when Joker and Murray were pulled 50 seconds later.

We had Bron, AD, Kuz, Green and Waiters out there then Kuz hit the winner with 0.4 left in the 4th to make it 124-121.

We beat their second stringers 43-39 in the last 15 minutes of the game when they were:

Not at all encouraging.

I really wish they could talk Bradley into coming to The Bubble. We're going to need him against Dame.

Lakers have to hope Memphis somehow pulls off the win at the play-in game on Saturday. Portland will make it very tough on the Lakers if they win.

Maybe they should try resting their players some more. It's what made the Lakers so great the last 7 years.--Yohe

Lillard's going to be very tough to contain. Nurkic is the one to watch out for too.

I think this goes either 5 or 6, with the Lakers prevailing.
