Sigh. I've gotten to meet him a few times myself, and he was an awesome guy.

I know the original project is kind of long dead, but incidentally, some new Destroyer footage from JWA has recently popped up (him and Bull Ramos vs. Inoki & Baba, 2/26/69). Haven't seen how complete it is yet.

According to his son on Facebook, Destroyer passed at around noon today surrounded by his family. Rest in peace.
