Updating this:

Tiger's 33 Season
0 - Majors
5 - PGA Wins
0 - Non-PGA Wins

Jack's season that he's chasing:

Jack's 32 Season (1973)
1 - Majors
7 - PGA Wins
1 - Non-PGA Wins

Tiger Career through 33 (current year)
14 - Majors
3 - Amatuer Majors
70 - PGA Wins
11 - Non-PGA Wins
1 - Ryder Cup
2 - President Cups

Chasing:

Jack Career through 33
12 - Majors
2 - Amatuer Majors
52 - PGA Wins
19 - Non-PGA Wins
2 - Ryder Cups

All-Time PGA Wins List:

82 Sam Snead
73 Jack Nicklaus
70 Tiger Woods
64 Ben Hogan
62 Arnold Palmer
52 Byron Nelson
51 Billy Casper

1972 when he was 32 was one of Jack's better seasons: 7 wins including a pair of majors. As seen above, he won another 7 when he was 33, but didn't win a major between the 1972 US Open and 1973 PGA, and 0-5 stretch. Tiger right now is on an 0-4 stretch since the 2008 US Open, with the two DNP's at the 2008 Open and PGA.

Jack would 0-4 at 34 and win two majors at 35 before his best days were clearly over.

This has nothing to do with Tiger's golfing abilities.

Hoping nothing that serious comes from this.

I wonder if Tiger's alleged affair is what caused him to tear out of the driveway at 2:20 am. Hope he ends up OK and ready for the Masters.

And why would she use a golf club to break open a window to get him out? Just happened to be carrying the golf club while chasing him off the property? Say bye bye to a few endorsements if the adultery allegations prove true Tiger.

*edit* TMZ is all over the adultery angle, as well as the facial injuries being caused by the wife and not the SUV. Dump her ASAP Tiger before you lose it all.

This really does not look good at all. One of the first things that has besmirched the reputation of Mr Woods.

The alleged mistress is denying the affair, which is via TMZ. TMZ points to the Enquirer on the affair, and TMZ hadn't covered the story at all prior to that. As a longtime TMZ reader, they're pretty much willing to cover *anything*, and they have a pretty good nose for stories. Their coverage of the affair is closer to what you'd see from them when they're not quite buying the story yet.

The Arguement + Hasty Retreat + Crash is believable, and sounds like both Mr. and Mrs. Woods confirmed it.

Strange "statement" that Tiger released, and the decision to pass on talking to cops. Now TMZ is saying that the cops are trying to get the hospital records to see if the wounds he was treated for are accident or abuse releated or both.

I had also read on TMZ that there was no blood on the steering wheel, which would make facial lacerations caused by the wreck even less likely. I have a feeling Tiger won't see light of day until those mystery lacerations are healed.

Now the reports come out that she chased after him in a golf cart. Just man up Tiger and say that you were beaten by your wife, it'll end much better than trying to hide it behind closed doors.

Adding more to the nutiness, a 23 year old cocktail waitress in Vegas comes out that she had a 31 month long affair with Tiger and has the texts and voicemails to prove it (one voicemail from Tiger says he's pretty sure Elin knows about the affair).

Goodbye wholesome image Eldrick!

Here's the TMZ:

Tiger Woods -- New Woman Surfaces

Texts would be fairly damning depending on content. Voicemail on 11/24 is interesting since the Enquirer story about the first woman hit the internet on 11/25.

Here comes the FHP:

Florida Troopers Go After Tiger

Sources are driving under the influence, which my guess is simply to pry open his medical records and get him to talk to them. They may push it since he's been a dick about talking to them. Cops in places like that smooth things over for the rich, powerful and celebs all the time. But be a dick to cops and they'll dick you back.

Here's news on a couple of text emssages Tiger sent to one of his mistresses:

Quote:
"I will wear you out...when was the last time you got (bleeped)?" one message read.

Another one from Tiger read, "Send me something very naughty...Go to the bathroom and take (a picture)."

This is definately not a good look for Tiger. While he'll escape major legal troubles, this is a side of Tiger that will hurt him for a while to the holier than thou types. (The Mushnicks and them) And lots of other people as well.

Excerpts from Tiger's voicemail:

Nothing really that damning, in terms of graphic content. Still there is proof that what happened that day happened.

Without hitting any specifics, he basically copped in his press release / statement.

Charles P. Pierce: Is This the End of Tiger Woods?

He links back to a piece he did in 1997 that caused a little stink at the time but has been forgotten since:

The Man. Amen.
